I have a rather ambitious statement on my Etsy shop profile
It says "Custom orders are most welcome. I can make anything, needle felted out of pure wool"
I decided a while ago to stop being scared of saying "maybe I can not do that" to saying "yes I can". Once I opened my heart to let new things in, lots of custom orders came my way. My creative spark loves the challenge of a new piece, Here are a few of them.

Marie- your work is so amazing and beautiful. One of these days I'm going to ask for a custom order. I already know what I want. Thank you again. I LOVE the pumpkin.

ReplyDeleteThese are just so lovely - thank you for sharing such beauty. I also love the Little Prince. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work as usual! I love doing custom orders too, but I always have that "thing" in the back of my mind that maybe they won't like it. This was never an issue until I had a customer who didn't like what I made for her and the whole experience was very negative. Do you ever worry about that?
ReplyDeleteMarie you make beautiful stuff from wool - I believe you when you say you can make anything! I hope the earth quake has steered clear from you and I hope everyone is safe.
ReplyDeleteHi Cassie,All is well with me, thanks for caring, the quake was in the South Island, and I live in the North Island. My son was in it thou, he is safe and sound. cheers Marie
ReplyDeleteDear Marie, Your words are just as inspiring as your wonderful creations. Thank you so much for the beauty you share with us all!
ReplyDeleteI love how soft and colorful those are!! The first creation reminded me of a rainbow the firt millesecond I saw it, then I looked some more and realized this indeed was a rainbow!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a bold thing to say and I'm glad you did, as I feel the same way! I have found that I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of a custom order, and I have to remove myself from what I would have done. I feel a great satisfaction when I can create something custom made. I will add some to my blog!
ReplyDeleteMarie, I saw of the earthquake and pray that you and yours are all well. Hugs from New York.
ReplyDeleteOh, YES, YES, YES..... how the world opens wider with a yes.......

ReplyDeleteYES YOU CAN! I DO believe YOU can make anything from your lovely wool, I love those green grapes best! Jeri
that has happened with me to, and when I have been scared out of my wits, and prayed I always felt the words "you can do it Saskia, and they will like it" currently, I am working on a new custom, and I even tried to talk her out of it, ha ha! but I guess it's mine to take on- and I am grateful for it
