Making Waldorf Dolls

I am not much of a sewer
I thought I would try making a few simple Waldorf dolls.
Here are the first two head attempts
I am using the book "Making Waldorf Dolls" by Maricristin Sealey as my guide..
Lots of practice is needed, but I am having fun ( and that's the main thing..)

Cheers Marie.

New Zealand Wool Bunting

This Winter passed I sat warm and snug by the fire
And made wool bunting out of Prue New Zealand wool blankets
I added some wool felted balls as decoration..
New Zealand is rather famous for its wool blankets. all made of sheep's wool, as you know there is an abundance of sheep in NZ..
For my wedding 36 years ago
My parents gave me a set of wool blankets, I still have one on my bed today

Hence the quality

This is just before the crowds came....
Surplus items will be sold on my Trade Me site
Just type in Waldorf. (only for NZ customers)...

New Zealand Flax flowers

I have lots of New Zealand, flax's in my garden, the native Tui bird is a fan of taking the nectar from the flowering flax plant.
They are a joy to watch...

I bought these dyed flax flowers at a market, and thought they would make a lovely wreath

I must have a go at making some flax flowers...

Cheers Marie.
