Crystal Light

It was Winter time.
Snow was everywhere.
The light was not as bright as it could be.
The wise man knew that he needed to go out into the snow.
He put on his cloak of purple and his tall hat.
He carried with him his special Crystal light.
He stood quietly in the snow.
His crystal light started to shine.
His light spread out into the world and brightened the dark winter days.
The light gave warmth and hope to people.
They could see clearer.
It brightened their day.

Scenic Native Reserve

Yesterday my head needed to be cleared and refreshed

So off I went with my daughter into a local Native New Zealand Reserve

A 10 minute drive away from my home

The smell off the forest floor, the many colours of green

Filled my senses and I came away 

With a feeling of peace and wonderment at Mother Nature's bounty
