On the weekend I met a young prince
His name was Ben
He was wearing a swirly yellow cape
And on his head was a gold crown
He wore a red jerkin and Grey chest Armour
He carried in his belt a beautiful long sword
This was going to be needed, as he had lots of dragons to slay
For my friend Katherine and her young Prince
cheers Marie

Marie... he is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHe is so beautiful! I love the blue trousers. It's almost like the pigment blue paint created by Titian! Wonderful, Marie you are so creative!
ReplyDeleteHe is FABULOUS! Lucky Ben!
ReplyDeleteOhhh Marie, that is so sweet of you... although I think he would rather be the dragons friends than slay them (he is rather fond of beasts). Your little Prince Ben is just lovely. x
ReplyDeleteWell dear Katherine, I was trying to think about the use of swords with young boys, and thought it best to have the sword put to use slaying dragons than stabbing people. I will have to come up with a story now about this magical peaceful sword. It will be easy, I love thinking about things like that. He will be arriving at your address shortly. ( with a special story) cheers Marie
ReplyDeletePrecious! Wouldn't every little boy just love to have a prince hanging in his room?

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you never cease to amaze me at what you can achieve with only natural materials and a needle. He is beautiful!

Oh Marie- He is adorable. Perhaps he uses his sword to cut thought brambles to save a lost baby dragon? Dragons to like to live in the most difficult of places ;) Take care.
