Spring emergence

It was still winter time, and the children lay asleep tucked up deep within Mother Earth, safe and snug in their winter coats.
The first rays of the warm spring sun shone down, and started to warm the Earth.
Up they came, putting on their beautiful Spring dresses, up they came, into the warm spring light, to dance amongst the flowers and under the golden spring sun.
How happy they were, after the long quiet of Winter.
How happy I am now to see the New Zealand Spring

Love and light  Marie

  1. beautiful. Those 3 little ones at the bottom looked like 3 fingers at first glance - like an arm hooked around and cradling the 3 colorful figures. Took me a minute to see it clearly. I love your story too. Welcome to your spring. Waiting for Autumn here.

  2. This picture of yours is just how I have been feeling as we emerge from our winter's slumber here in South Africa too. Beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by at my new blog. I appreciate your comment.
