Autumn had come.
The leaves were turning from green to gold.
The Acorn maiden held tightly to her most precious treasure.
This special acorn would be guarded by her all winter.
When the first rays of the warming spring sunlight appeared, she would plant the little seed.
Mother Earth would smile kindly on it and make it grow into a magnificent oak tree.

The contrast between the spring and the autumn is so striking, one can really see the two parts of the world are upside down. What else are we forgetting when we look at situations each day?
