Autumn is fading
The bright golden light is starting to dim
The leaves have all but fallen from the trees
The forest undergrowth is covered in brown
A protected layer is now forming on the ground
And all around us
We are going to take that golden light
And let it surround our soul
To keep us warm in the coming Winter months
The bright golden light is starting to dim
The leaves have all but fallen from the trees
The forest undergrowth is covered in brown
A protected layer is now forming on the ground
And all around us
We are going to take that golden light
And let it surround our soul
To keep us warm in the coming Winter months
Love and light Marie
Love it! Gorgeous colors - it almost is glowing! Just stunning, Marie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and makes me feel extra happy about spring on this side of the world.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly how I want to feel every autumn as I gather all the warmth and light in to prepare for winter. As summer comes on here, it is good to be reminded of the other side of the wheel of the year (and the earth!) :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Autumn down under...spring in my part of the world...the world is a wonderful place!

ReplyDeleteGood morning, Marie! I love this little fellow all orange and gold, the beautiful autumn tree, and your poem. It is so hard to imagine you experiencing fall right now. Spring is busting out all over here. The tree below my kitchen window is bursting with tiny baby peaches, peony and iris are abloom, and yesterday the temperature was a record-breaking 96 farenheit! But I am going to close my eyes and think of you, and fall leaves, and little gnomes, and acorns. love, Beth
