I found some different pale green wool in my back cupboard, it is all crinkly 

Not like my normal soft fluffy wool

I thought it might lend itself to red haired angels

They turned out rather well, I thought

Slow Learner

When I went to school, over forty five years ago

The teachers were not so kind and understanding as they are today

I was told I was useless, bad,  no good , and slow

This was written on my report card

I only enjoyed   Art, Drawing and History

The rest I could not get

In those days if you did not "get it" straight away

You were left behind

I was left behind, because I was a slow learner

The classes were huge, the teachers smoked in class

And the ruler would wack across your knuckles for the slightest reason

I am so pleased that the system has changed

Personally all my learning came for me after I left school

Which I left at 16 years old
Deemed a failure by the teachers with no qualifications

A mystery

A few weeks ago, when I was away from home this lovely book came in the mail

It was opened by someone else and all documentation was lost

Who gave me this lovely book, it is a mystery

It might be related to me giving wool angels last month to people who needed them

When I sit down to create, the idea is in my head what it is going to look like

But the wool often dictates how things will flow

How colors overlap and develop

It is very much like painting, a new color emerges and creates form and beauty

I thought they might need a warm white wrap, 

As it is going to get  real cold soon in the North Pole

They can hang from the tree on gold thread

Or be placed on the mantelpiece with candles and holly

Creating never ceases

A few years ago I introduced my elderly neighbor to the world of Waldorf

I would bring her swapped items and needle felted creation's that I had made

She became enchanted by them

Yesterday I popped in and saw her two completed dolls

Handmade by her, I took a few photos

Creating never ceases, not at any age, and she is a fair age.
