Last week I received a very simple brief
Make two Summer pictures
I was eating Strawberries at the time, and thought, I will make a Strawberry Lady
Summer colors always have a stronger palette. I tend to always dress the child in red
The images are still soft though, but have more of a stronger Summer feel to them.
What do you think?
Love and light Marie
Absolutely beautiful, Love the strawberries and the rainbow, I like a strong colour palette myself :)
ReplyDeletedivine! especially seeing as its summer here, i am connecting to it. strawberries are delicious at the moment. i wish my mum put a cutom order in with you for little messyfish...instead she bought dvds and we dont watch tv! arrgghhh...to dream to dream. did i say how lovely they were????
ReplyDeleteAnother rainbow! I love them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours. Do you dye the wool yourself?
I wish you can send us some sunshine. It's so cold and wet over here right now!
I love snow and i feel sentimental when i freeze outside, than come in to a cozy warm house and drink a hot cup of tea. Or better: hot choco! Reminds me of the good old days when i was much younger :)
Lot's of love, Yvonne
Hi Yvonne, thanks for the kind words, I do not dye the wool myself, but a lovely lady called Denise does. cheers Marie
ReplyDeleteLove the rainbow
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think you have nailed it - the colour palette really does define the season, especially working in such a soft tactile medium. I always dress my girl in red, she was born in early Decemeber and it really is her season.
ReplyDeleteBoth of them are beautifully done. Take care.
ReplyDeleteLoving these Marie! So beautiful! I love the circular format.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Louise, Circles are never ending, yet whole, I love that concept. cheers Marie
