Meeting the young Prince Ben

On the weekend I met a young prince
His name was Ben
He was wearing a swirly yellow cape
And on his head was a gold crown
He wore a red jerkin and Grey chest Armour
He carried in his belt a beautiful long sword
This was going to be needed, as he had lots of dragons to slay

What I have been working on

This morning, I laid out some newspaper, got out my paints and paint brushes
And painted small box lids
I sometimes make these boxes for my market stalls
They are filled with lots of different treasures for children
Rainbow acorns, toadstool children, Autumn acorns, Spring blossom children
I just love making these, and oh the joy I receive when a child opens the box, just magical.

I went for a walk on the weekend and this is what I saw
Beautiful pink Spring blossoms appearing on trees, like big fluffy candyfloss
Lime green fresh stalks of new growth
Bright Yellow daffodils
Bud burst just starting to happen
Oh my, I think Spring is coming

PEACE of FELT

I am helping to create a circle of peace felt around the world
This will connect every country in an energetic circle of peace, unconditional love, and gratitude.
For PEACE to be FELT in hearts across the world.
I have created my Peace of felt and will send it to my Peace partner, on the 21st September, which is the "International day of Peace"

This "Circle of peace and love" steps outside the bounds of tradition"exchanges" where one may often have expectations of an "equal trade with their exchange partner; expecting that what is received matches the perceived value of what was given. Instead this circle of giving and receiving invites participants to give freely and feel the reward of truly giving in the spirit of love and without condition.

Here is my PEACE of FELT, which is going to my peace partner in America.

Birds are building their nests

A little tiny bird child appeared in this nest the other day , she was making sure all was well

This little bird fairy, was checking that the nest would be warm enough for the eggs

Mother bird thought her nest was just fine

I wonder how many eggs she is sitting on?

Watercolor paintings

I used to do a lot of watercolor paintings
I enjoyed the medium of the freedom of watercolor
The colors would swim around and I liked there movement
I have not done any for a while now
Thought you might like to have a look at two of them

So now instead of painting landscapes with water color
I paint with rainbow shades of wool
