Winter wonderland

My home in winter time
Heavy frosts lay on the ground most mornings
Winter crops are in, leeks, cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower
I am warm and snug inside, warmed by firelight
Busy creating, with warm soft wool

Love and light Marie

  1. Your winterly picture looks so refreshing! The average daily temperature here in Ohio in the North East part of the U.S. has been about 88 degrees and VERY humid for most of July. The frost on the ground looks wonderful!

  17. We're planning on doing some wet felting outside today. I'm glad its not frosty here. Would be opting for something warmer and drier. Brr! I love the frost. It starts the whole process of cleaning the slate ready for the new season. Keep warm.

  20. That looks just so lovely! It's especially refreshing to see when we are having such hot weather here! It's a reminder that our seasons are cyclical and that we will have reprieve from this heat soon enough!
