Heavy frosts lay on the ground most mornings
Winter crops are in, leeks, cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower
I am warm and snug inside, warmed by firelight

ReplyDeleteYour winterly picture looks so refreshing! The average daily temperature here in Ohio in the North East part of the U.S. has been about 88 degrees and VERY humid for most of July. The frost on the ground looks wonderful!

ReplyDeleteIts turned colder,wet and stormy in the U.K, in time for the childrens summer holidays! Time to light a fire and do some patchwork by hand I think. Have to improve there sewing skills!

ReplyDeleteWe're planning on doing some wet felting outside today. I'm glad its not frosty here. Would be opting for something warmer and drier. Brr! I love the frost. It starts the whole process of cleaning the slate ready for the new season. Keep warm.
