I have just seen "Bright Star" the movie about the romantic English poet John Keats and his love for Fanny Brawne
I so enjoyed the movie and the clothes and language, that I had to make this picture.

The movie touched me in such a profound way it's hard to describe-the fact that he (Keats) was only 25 when he passed is unbelievable to me- I mean how the heck did he write such beautiful things about life at such a young age? And the grief- Fanny was a very brave soul. Your doll is lovely. Oh, and thanks for stopping by :-)

I sent this page to my wife who's a nubie at knitting -- and, oh, didn't you just love the character of Margaret, Fanny's little sister, especially when she said, "My sister has met the author, and she wants to read it [his book] for herself to see if he's an idiot or not." Ha! I knew right then and there that "Toots" and Mr. Keats were going to be fast friends.
