New Year

The sun shone on my home, my family and my friends.

Poppy child

In my garden, there now is poppy flowers that have gone to seed, I was out there having a look at them and thinking, maybe a little poppy child might appear. And here she is, she is made with pure New Zealand wool, she loved the garden and looking all around.

Today was overcast and cool, a change from our warmer summer days.

Our mother hen has 5 new Chickie's, they have there own little coop to go in at night time, the rest of the day they free range on our organic small holding. She is a good Mother and looks after her chicks. Being a Mother as you know is not an easy task, but keep on doing the best that you can. My Mother is almost 90 and I always say to her that she and Dad did the very best they could as parents. So Mothers look after your Chickie's and they will always love you. Cheers Marie

Summer nature table

My summer nature table has been inspired by creations I have made and items bought on Etsy. The two beautiful dolls under the toadstool are made by GreenManShop and the beautiful wee blue felt embroidered blue doll is by Alkelda. The lovely dragonfly card was made by Willywaw.

This is my summer story. It was summertime, the dragon flies were busy flying around , the princesses looked out over the blue lake and watched as Thumbelina sailed on the sparkling waters in her waterlily pad boat. Standing on the shore next to the pink peace stone stood a little summer green gnome. On the far shore , surrounded by flowers and a dove, stood a little blue flower child, she was wearing a beautiful cloak of red roses. How happy they all were to see the sun and to be outside by Mother Earth.. under the blue summer skies.

Today was warmish, it is evening now and the day has become cooler. The wind has dropped and the early evening is still, and quiet. Dinner is over and the garden has been watered. I am thinking about birds, rainbow birds, I have come up with this idea, I have put them on etsy, have a look. "Happy days" cheers

summer berries

On my homestead, my 25 year old organic garden, is bearing up under the summer sun. The raspberries and Boysenberries are starting to appear. I have covered them with bird netting, to help protect them from being all eaten. I have created a little summer berry child, suitable to be played with by a child, and made of pure New Zealand wool. The lavender hedge flowers are just starting to burst, soon they will be in glorious color. "Happy days"

Snow White lay sleeping, all around her stood the dwarfs,guarding her, while awaiting the prince. Needle felted in pure wool.

warm summer days

This delightful wee green elf , has been flying around my garden on the back of a dragonfly. He flys with the bees and butterfly's. It is warm today, so I will do a chore, and mow lawns early before it gets to hot.

Christmas time

The sun is shinning,I have finished making Nativity sets , they have flown all over the world ,to be in peoples homes this festive season. Made from 100% pure New Zealand wool, that I get from a lady who has sheep. She cards and dyes the wool herself, in beautiful rainbow colors/
