Thoughts on keeping things in the cupboard

When I first started this blog, I did not think that anyone would be interested at all in what I do
and my country life style.
I realize that it was no use creating art and keeping it in the cupboard, (Which was what I used to do)
Why not share it with the world, why not pass it on to others, why not give some to others for free,
And why not see if anyone may want to buy some
It is sometimes a bit scary to (Put yourself out there)
As you are putting your soul out there, and that means you have to open the door a bit, and let people see inside
Have the courage to open the door and as you let others have a peep into your world
You get to see into a  world that is full of amazing things, where  wonderful colors and warmth abound
I have all  of you in my life now and how very richer I am through it all
Just by opening the cupboard door a little

Old Fashioned Singing Games

This delightful children's book is in excellent condition
It was published in 1983, some 29 years ago by Four Winds Press

The original illustrations, with accompanying verses and instructions were discovered by Dorothy's daughter, Carol Odell, in an old family trunk

Some history....
The singing games were collected and illustrated by Dorothy Fuller, she and her two sisters traveled through England and America in the early 1900s singing folk songs at many theaters and universities and teaching the games

This is a delightful collection of twelve best loved old-fashioned children's singing games contains verses, music and simple step-by-step instructions on how to play each game

Exquisitely illustrated with delicate water-colors depicting scenes from the games. this book will delight. Older readers will recall with nostalgia such favorites as "When I was a young girl"
"The Mulberry Bush" "Looby Loo" "Ring a Ring of Roses"

It measures 10 inches by 7 inches

There is a tiny tear on the back dust cover measuring about 1 inch
It is for sale in my Etsy shop, do click here to view more pictures, it has the advantage of the music also
