The Rites of Spring - New Buds

I was Winter pruning our Boysenberry plants yesterday and noticed 
Some new buds starting to appear, this put me in mind of my Catkin Children

  3. Delightful Marie. Isn't it lovely to see the new buds coming through? We have had jonquils up for a good few weeks now and it is lovely to have the colour.

  9. Oh, they are gorgeous. I read the story of Pussywillow (the kitten) to my daughter recently and we have been noticing first Spring buds appearing in our garden (in Western Australia) this week.
    Again, gorgeous.
