I am putting my Etsy shop on vacation

I can no longer guarantee that items will arrive at their destination in time for Christmas

I do however still have my New Zealand shop,  "Felt" open for business,  for New Zealand Customers.

I have been amazed at the amount of Nativity set orders that I have had.

And if you did miss out on one, I plan to re list them for a New Years special.

Babies in Baskets

It is so cool when you create something that people love

How I enjoy making these wee babies for children, and to know that they will be played with, taken out of their baskets, tucked up in a blanket, then cuddled, and return to bed in their baskets.

I have lost count of the amount of Babies in Baskets I have made over the years.

The Warmth of Early Summer

The warmth of early Summer in New Zealand, is starting to seep into my body

I feel good, sitting in the sunshine, and letting those warming rays bring warmth

It is a really busy time, this end of the year, this finishing off of affairs

I am looking forward to  relaxing on a Summer break soon, with family and friends.

Walking in the New Zealand Bush

How I love walking in the New Zealand bush

Not too far from my home is a bush reserve, 

My husband and I often go for walks there.

Green ferns abound, and  the sweet sound of bird song fills the air.

Let your light shine

Sometimes things happen that completely throw you

This is what recently happened to me

There was a reason why doors were closed

So that you can open one that leads you to the perfect road

I have to ignite the light , and let it shine.

I am an original and cannot be replaced

After a hurricane comes a rainbow

I now can ignite the light, and let it shine

The Winter Moon Maiden

Carefully she held this acorn

Through the fierce Winter storms

She held it close to her heart

Until the first warming rays of Spring sunlight appeared

Then she would plant it in Mother Earth 's warm soil
