Protecting the seeds

In late Autumn all the seeds have fallen deep into Mother Earth
The Gnomes guard and protect them
When the first hint of the warming rays of early Spring's sunlight touches the brown earth
They start to sprout.
At this sign the Gnomes push up the seeds, and lo and behold, we see the first sign of Spring

Spring, spring, hey ho for spring
What a truly wonderful thing is spring.

Cheers Marie

  5. I keep coming back to look at this scene, though I also love the American winter posting and the old couple at Valentine's day posting. This weekend I went for a walk in the woods and for the first time in a while, I felt that there was life all around me underground in the snowy, frozen woods. love, Beth
