Being you Being true
I am an older woman, I have lived a while
It is important to be real, it is important to be you
Often we think we should succumb to what others think we should be
But this is a mistake, we should be true
However, one is sometimes viewed as different
This has happened all my life, but I am happy with it, I am comfortable with my life
Be strong, and go with your intuition, live your life

She is kind, it is all about adaptability
One needs to adapt to life's changing streams
Why I say streams is, because constantly flowing towards us is a stream of the future
We wake up in the morning and things happen,
Sometimes they are not things that we thought would happen that day
So we must adapt to changes and go with the flow
Lets not fight it, but surrender to it
Lets enjoy the changes that come

Memories
Fifty years ago when I was seven I watched my Mother mix up ingredients in this bowl
I would stand in the kitchen and watch her bake
And here am I, mixing up ingredients in the same bowl
My dear Mother will be 90 next month, and I always get a lovely feeling when using her bowl
Memories sure are precious
