We dry a lot of our clothes over the wood heater too - so handy. With our cold wet winters there are many days that clothes just wont dry on the washing line, so I simply hang them inside. A bit cluttered but so much cheaper than (our non existent) dryer !!
I've said it before, but I really do love these windows into your life. Such a beautiful home. We hang clothes from our lights inside all year round to dry. It's almost to humid outside in the summer to dry anything and in the winter it would freeze. Take care.
We line dry all of our clothes, too. I put up two big rods, one on one width of the bathroom and one on the length. Works great in the winter!
ReplyDeleteI need one of them too! My house looks like a chinese laundry over winter. Lucky, yesterday and today it's 16 degrees and sunny :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! We lack a good way of air drying clothes in the winter. I always enjoy getting these little glimpses of your home!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea :-)
ReplyDeleteWith us all working fulltime and living in showery Auckland we are a 'throw it in the dryer' household
I love this picture!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, I always end up with line dangling across my rooms and clothes all over the furniture!
